Operation: Raising Healthy Kids
Come join us this Thursday, April 26th as we spend time with Elizabeth Lin who will share with us ideas on raising healthy kids.
Elizabeth shares a little about herself...
My name is Elizabeth Lin and I am married to a wonderful husband named Ed and am full-time mother of two children, Ethan 2yo and Emily 7mos. I am born and raised a New Yorker (in Long Island for the most part), but now call myself a "New Jersey girl."
I completed my undergraduate career at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as a Communication Studies major and then went on to work in the media industry for two years. After attending a missions trip to Myanmar one summer and working with an orphanage and two doctors, I decided I wanted to pursue a nursing degree. Thus I attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in Newark to receive my second degree in Nursing studies.
After graduating the accelerated second degree program, I worked at Valley hospital as a registered nurse then decided to go into working part-time as a school nurse in the Paramus school districts. After having my first child, I decided to stay home with my kids. My family and I are currently in the process of becoming members of Maranatha Grace Fort Lee. Its been a tremendous blessing in our lives.
