Let's Get Messy!

Our speaker for this thursday Oct 24th, is our very own Monica Coleman.

Monica Coleman, was born and raised in Michigan.
I grew up in the small town of Mesick known for the Morel Mushrooms.
I lived a very simple life in the country with my parents and 2 sisters.
Upon high school graduation, I attended college at Spring Arbor COllege.
While at Spring Arbor College I studied Music and Psychology.
During my time at Spring Arbor College I ment my husband
We dated for 2.5 years and were married in July of 2000.
I later went on to get certified in Medical Billing and Coding.
Our parenting life started in May of 2003, We are now blessed with 5 beautiful children.
My family and I moved to New Jersey about 1.5 years ago because of my husband's job.
We live in the city of Paramus. Our family attends Powerhouse Christian Church where we've been attending for just over a year now.
I'm a whole foods, organic eating and natural living kind of gal.
I enjoy cooking, baking, crafts, scrapbooking, playing the piano, and reading (of course when I have time).
MOPS has been a part of my life since my son was 2 years old over 8 years ago.
I met a wonderful lady and friend who reach out to me when I knew no one during one of our moves in MI.
She invited me to come to her MOPS group and I've been a part ever since.

Embracing Your Beautiful Mess

Our first MOPS meeting for the 2013 season started of a little messy and a lot of fun as we dug into some delicious dishes!

Our monthly news letter "THE DIRT" was launched to much praise and applause!

It was lovely time of catching up with each other after a long summer break and also getting to know some of our new moms. We are also praying for our MOPS leaders who are on a mission trip to the Philippines right now.
